We’re still looking for contemporary romance authors for this 2019 publishing project. 🙂
We still have plenty of room in the SEDUCTIVE Anthology Series coming in February 2019 (only 5 of the 30 open spots have been taken!) and we’re looking to spread the word. If you have friends who might be interested in participating, please consider sharing this email with them (sharing buttons are in the footer). This email lays out the full details of the project, including the marketing plan for audience expansion (which is detailed but a super-important part of the project), but here’s a short list of the highlights.

- Books included in the boxed set must be original stories (never before published) and may be tied into an existing series for cross promotion.
- The genre is contemporary romance, all sub-genres, and dark contemporary romance, all sub-genres.
- The minimum word count requirement is 20,000 words (novella length).

GOALS & PROMOTIONAL PLAN
The SEDUCTIVE Anthology Series project’s main goal is audience expansion. It’s not so much about making money or a list but about reaching new readers for your solo work. That being said, the next goal in line is income.
Our Plan For Audience Expansion
Within the anthology, the page following your story will include you photo, press bio, and link to your Amazon Author Central Page. Links to Amazon Author Central pages will also be among the final pages of the anthology.
The SEDUCTIVE Anthology Series website has a page for each anthology volume. On the page of the volume in which your story is featured, we will have the volume’s info and below it will be the authors’ information (picture, press bio, and links to your newsletter sign up, website, Facebook fanpage, Twitter profile, Goodreads author page, and Amazon Author Central profile). However, the most important part of the series website is the SEDUCTIVE Book Blog.
Pure Textuality PR runs 1-Day Promotional Blitzes and Review Tours for a wide variety of contemporary romance clients (including Avon Romance, Entangled Publishing, and many more), all of which always have good tour assets to draw in readers (giveaways, excerpts, teasers, author Q&As, and guest posts). Once the author registration is filled, the SEDUCTIVE Book Blog will begin hosting tour stops for these contemporary romance tours or blitzes. The header banner on the series website advertises the series no matter what page you’re on, including the book blog. In exchange for exposing their books to the SEDUCTIVE audience, their tour stops will expose their romance-centric audience to the series and drive sales. The SEDUCTIVE Book Blog will stay in the Pure Textuality PR booking rotation indefinitely.
Also, once author registration fills up, Pure Textuality PR is going to put the option out to the group to review new romance titles in the indie community as well. This will create a good networking atmosphere with the reviewed title’s author and give the SEDUCTIVE authors the opportunity to “talk” directly to the new readers in the roll up to the series release. I will also be giving the option for authors to do other kinds of posts – giveaways, guest posts, cover reveals, teasers, etc. All of the SEDUCTIVE authors will also have the option to spotlight any contemporary romance deals or new releases they have on the blog.
Between Pure Textuality PR tours and blitzes, the SEDUCTIVE authors, and contemporary romance author cross promotion, the blog will be active in no time flat.
The content of the series newsletter will be limited to news about the SEDUCTIVE Anthology Series and the SEDUCTIVE authors only. The only thing that will be featured for outside authors is links to the giveaways ran during the tours for my other contemporary romance clients and those are being featured in the newsletter solely to drive open rates.
SEDUCTIVE Reads (the Facebook reader group) will be open to anyone who wants to join. SEDUCTIVE authors will have the option to be marked as an admin. SEDUCTIVE authors will have full reign to post whatever, whenever, including their other contemporary romance work outside of the SEDUCTIVE series. On every Tuesday & Thursday evening, I will schedule a guest contemporary romance authors to come in and do a takeover (the requirement being that they have to promote it on their Facebook page inviting their readers to join the group). Depending on what opportunities come up, we may have guest authors outside of that schedule, but that gives me somewhere to start. And the group will not be an “open book promo” group. SEDUCTIVE authors can post about their other contemporary romance work whenever they want, but outside authors will only be allowed to post their work when they schedule a takeover.
Of course, we will be doing all of our normal promo as well (blitzes, review tours for the series, newsletter features/swaps, paid ads with advertisers we’ve tested out, viral campaigns, etc.).
